Hi, I am Melanie and together with my partner Sina I have a practice for osteopathy and homeopathy for children and adults and for body therapy in Berlin Rummelsburg.

Based on our own experience, it is important to us that pregnant women, babies, children and families are well looked after, as the period of pregnancy, the time around birth and the postpartum period can be particularly challenging.

We also provide osteopathic and homeopathic support for children to help them develop in the best possible way and help adults with pain, health problems and mental health issues.

I work with babies, toddlers, children, adolescents and adults.

I am passionate about accompanying families by giving the parents confidence in their own instincts and by accompanying children into and through life.

I often work with families when they experience one or more of the following scenarios:

New and expecting moms:

  • Physical and psychological difficulties after birth inventions (c-section, vacuum extraction, forceps, violence during birth)

  • Breastfeeding problems

  • Traumatic birth experiences

  • Postpartum depression

  • Antenatal depression

  • Self-doubt

  • Nausea during pregnancy

  • Emotional difficulties during pregnancy

  • Homeopathic support in preparation for and during the birth to find emotional stability and to get a positive influence on the sensation of pain and labor activity

  • Birth injuries, wound healing disorders

  • Breast inflammation, vasospasm and mastitis, pain during breastfeeding

  • Challenging situations within the partnership or family

Babies and children:

  • Strengthening the immune system

  • Fever

  • Children's diseases

  • Difficulties with the intake of breastmilk or the incompatibility of breastmilk

  • Colic

  • Diaper rash

  • Thrush

  • Teething problems

  • Middle ear infections

  • Constipation and diarrhea

Fertility and Loss

I also work with couples who are facing challenges in their fertility journey or who have lost a child.

My rates are as follows:

Homeopathy

  • Initial anamnesis

    • Babies/toddlers/children: €85-120 (60-90 minutes)

    • Adolescents/adults: €120-160 (90-120 minutes)

  • Follow-up appointment

    • Babies/toddlers/children: €65-80 (30-60 minutes)

    • Teenagers/adults: €80 (60 minutes)

  • After an initial consultation, I can also provide short phone consultations and recommend homeopathic remedies when kids or adults get sick (€20)

Body therapy (an intuitive form of encounter and touch for the body, mind and soul)

  • Single appointment: €80-100 (60-75 minutes)

  • Couple appointment (to resolve relationship issues): €100-120 (75-90 minutes)

Family constellations (€80 per hour, sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes)

(We usually find that most issues can be resolved within 2-3 sessions.)

Insurance Coverage

Many of our guide's services are covered by insurance. Please check with your insurance provider to see if you are covered.

Most statutory health insurance companies cover part of the costs of osteopathic treatment. A referral/prescription from a doctor is required for this. This can then be submitted to the health insurance company together with the invoice.

Private and supplementary insurance policies that cover the treatment of alternative practitioners pay for osteopathic and homeopathic treatment in part or in full.

Qualifications 🏅

Our guides provide their qualifications and certifications so we can ensure their professional experience.

I am a trained and certified alternative practitioner for homeopathy for babies, children and adults and a certified therapist and teacher for body therapy.

  • Training as a naturopath specializing in homeopathy + body therapy (Samuel Hahnemann School, Berlin, 2006-2009)

  • Permission to use the professional title of alternative practitioner (Berlin Tempelhof health authority, 2009)

  • Training as a lecturer for body therapy (Samuel Hahnemann School, Berlin, 2008-2010)

  • Training as a lecturer for process-oriented homeopathy (Samuel Hahnemann School, Berlin, 2009-2012)

  • Head of the outpatient clinic for body therapy (Samuel Hahnemann School, Berlin, 2010-2012)
