Hi! I’m Clare!
I’m a language education expert, bilingual parenting guide, and mum to a chatty little bilingual toddler!
I was born and raised in London and now live with my family in Trier, Germany. I have spent years working in language education, but nothing compares to the experience of watching my own daughter acquire two languages at the same time. It is fascinating, but honestly sometimes a bit overwhelming, too!
I know first-hand that parenting in two (or more!) languages can be full of questions, conflicting advice, and those nagging doubts about whether you are “doing it right”.
That is exactly why I moved into parent coaching and now offer bilingual parenting support. I am passionate about promoting bilingualism and helping families give their children the gift of growing up connected to multiple languages and cultures, but I know it is not always easy.
Through individual support sessions, I help families feel supported, more confident, and better equipped to meet the real-life challenges of bilingual parenting in ways that feel natural and sustainable for them.
With my qualifications in psychology, language studies and parent coaching, and nearly 20 years of experience in language education, I bring both research-backed expertise and real-life know-how to my work with families.
Here is how I can support you:
Providing individual support sessions tailored to your child’s bilingual journey.
Devising a personal language plan to help you promote exposure to your family's languages.
Sharing practical strategies and inspiring activity ideas to boost your child’s language development.
Supporting you through common worries like language mixing, speech delays, or shifting language use over time.
Offering flexible sessions, online or in-person, in English, German, or a mix of both.
If you are experiencing the joys and challenges of raising a bilingual child, or you’re about to be fairly soon, you are in the right place. You do not have to figure it all out alone.
I would love to support your family and grow your languages together!
