Pregnancy and Baby Loss Circle Launch at CARA Berlin

Bereaved parents

Date: Wednesday, 11 June
Start: 10:30
End: 11:30

Join us for our very first open and welcoming community discussion where we explore the complex feelings that arise when we lose a precious pregnancy or a beloved baby, or experience unsuccessful fertility treatment.

Together, we’ll reflect on topics like coping with grief, disenfranchised grief, how to best support bereaved and intended parents, where to find emotional support, and more.

This is not a presentation or a workshop, but it’s a space to connect, share stories, ask questions, and feel heard. Whether you’re grieving the simple path to parenthood you’d imagined, navigating pregnancy or baby loss (whatever the gestation, whenever the loss took place), or looking for support resources, your voice is welcome here.

The conversation will be gently moderated by Seetal Savla, a former fertility patient turned patient advocate, whose lived experience enables her to explore these incredibly challenging subjects with sensitivity and compassion.

What you can expect: An informal, non-judgmental atmosphere in a comforting environment.

Empathetic dialogue instead of set solutions Space to reflect on your own experiences.

Community support and shared insight.

This launch event is ideal for anyone who has suffered loss and needs to share their thoughts and feelings surrounding this life-changing experience with people who have walked, or are currently walking, a similar path.

All attendees will receive a gift bag including a copy of the book ‘Life, Almost: Miscarriage, misconceptions and a search for answers from the brink of motherhood’ by health journalist and miscarriage campaigner Jennie Agg.

Please note that Seetal is not a licensed practitioner and is therefore unable to offer any medical advice, counselling or coaching. This event is only an opportunity for those seeking connection, clarity and information.
