What's in store:
🎨 Eric Carle-Inspired Collage Craft – Inspired by our read aloud of the The Tiny Seed, children will explore textures and colors through an open-ended collage activity using recycled and found materials.
🌾 Sensory Seed Play – Children will explore different types of seeds through sensory bins filled with a variety of seeds and materials to examine them!
🌱 Wildflower seed pods – Children will create colorful pods out of recycled paper, water, and native wildflower seeds. These can be taken home and planted to encourage biodiversity in Berlin.
What’s included and what to expect:
Your ticket purchase includes entry and participation for 1 child (age 3-6) and 1 caregiver.
We will provide all craft and sensory materials as well as a caring and nurturing environment for safe and supported learning.
We suggest you feed your child a small snack before the session, but will have some dry goods (rice crackers, raisins) on site just in case. We will also be providing coffee and tea for caregivers to enjoy while their children learn.
We ask parents stay on site in case their child is struggling to join or having big feelings, but otherwise we invite adults in attendance to sit back, relax, and meet other parents. There is a toilet available for patrons but no changing table.
You will receive a welcome packet upon ticket purchase with more detailed information about the event as well as consent forms. Get you tickets here!
