Community Ambassador Program

Thanks so much for your interest in the Kietzee Community Ambassador Program!

🐘 What is it?

A program for Kietzee members who would like to get more involved in organizing meetups for fellow members in their neighborhood.

Since we know a family's radius tends to get smaller as the baby arrives, we want to focus more on connecting families who live nearby so they can meet regularly and support each other.

We're currently looking for hosts in the following neighborhoods:

  • Friedrichshain

  • Prenzlauer Berg

  • Charlottenburg/Schöneberg

💡 How does it work?

At the event, you will be the main point person and we'll provide you with a Kietzee table top sign you can display at the event so members can find you.

We'll help you get set up for your events. We have a list of family friendly venues but you are more than welcome to suggest venues yourself! In the winter, this tends to be family friendly restaurants or cafés. In the summer it could be the park, playground or beer garden.

Once you let us know the date and location, we will let the members know via email and Discord, so they can sign up.

☕️ How many events would you host?

You would organize up to one meetup per month in your neighborhood for Kietzee members. Since we like to include all members of the family, we suggest that the main meetup take place on the weekend, so everyone can join.

Currently, we host a bigger Kietzee Gathering for all groups together, every three months. So you could host two events, followed by a big event organized by us, then two hosted by you, etc.

We know that in pregnancy and with little babies, things change all the time, and we're here for backup and support if you need to change plans.

❤️ What’s in it for you?

This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves hosting, enjoys meeting and talking with people, or thrives in a more “official” role (hello, fellow introverts!).

We're happy to extend a reduced annual membership to our Community Ambassadors (€50 for 12 months, instead of €120).

Finally, we welcome any ideas, suggestions, feedback you may have for the meetups or Kietzee as a whole – let’s create a great platform for international parents in Berlin, together!
